*eyebrow raised* Really? Really, Seth? It's a huge staple of pop vampire culture! Or, it was. It's kind of fallen away...

Really, I can vamps with or without wings, but I have a SLIGHT preference to those with wings. It feels like a throwback to their animalistic tendencies. Most vamp stories where they have wings, however, do have it so that they can meld their wings into their backs. I wrote something using that, which is here: http://community.livejournal.com/the_dead_muse/91624.html#cutid1 . Just in case you're curious.

The wings thing definitely doesn't work in your world, though. Don't change a thing. Dead Boyfriend is the exception to the rule. ^_~
