Anyone seen this yet?

It's the outtakes of a...You know what? Just watch.

Houston, we have a problem.

Hey guys, I have an announcement. I'm pretty sure HOWL 1.5 won't make it up today. The power chord for my computer no longer makes a secure connection, and it's been all I can do the past few days to keep my MacBook from dying on me. If I move the computer in just the right way the chord will disconnect just enough to drain the power.

Misbehavior at Web Fiction Guide

Chris, editor at the Web Fiction Guide, has just brought to my attention that two reviews have been deleted because they were clearly by the same person. Needless to say this behavior is Not Cool.

Sock puppet reviews end up hurting my listing in the long run for precisely this reason--they get deleted. Getting the word out for a gay vampire story is hard enough. Using bad internet etiquette is always looked down on, and rightfully so, and just makes the job harder for those of working at increasing our profile legitimately.

Now, I understand the enthusiasm, and appreciate it, but this is Not The Way. This kind of thing is always found out, and it's stupidly easy to find with admin access to the system. There's suspicion on a third account that Chris thinks is this same person. If you are this person, I ask that you do the honorable thing and take it down yourself.

Earning a legit reputation for this story will be an uphill battle at the best of times, please, please don't push us backwards.

In short, no fake reviews, guys. You should know better.

Catching Up

I've spent the time since I've been awake (which, honestly, hasn't been that long) catching people up on their money-earned points. Hopefully I got all the donations and subscriptions in my PayPal attributed to the right person. Someday I will figure out why the fucking username box isn't working. Sigh. Anyway, I think I got it figured out, and I know one person on the roster doesn't have an account so I don't have to worry about that. I also know that when Charis finally gets a working account I'm going to owe her a massive amount of points.

His head is spinning and he can’t decide why.

HOWL 1.3

He still hasn’t decided if Adam’s dangerous.

#DBFchat, anyone?

Hey guys, I was just wondering if anyone with Twitters would be interested in having a live chat, something in the vein of #writechat or #DNchat. I should be showing up in the hashtag searches again so it would be a good time to have one.

I'm not solid on what the content of the chat would be, it literally just now occurred to me so I thought I'd ask people what they thought. We can chat about Dead Boyfriend, HOWL, ask me questions, offer suggestion, even critique my writing style, whatever.

HOWL 1.2

It isn’t a coupling. It’s a claiming.

HOWL Updates and a Reminder

Hey, so I've come to a decision. HOWL, being mostly sequential, is a bit different that other side stories. It's more like Ira's POV, and then it hit me. It would actually be easier to write if it was more like Ira's POV. So I've changed it up a little. HOWL 1 is now HOWL 1.1, and the rest of this "chapter" will come in chunks like 1.2, 1.3, ect.

Howling Out Loud

Eric's little adventure is going serialized. For the foreseeable future it's going to be the side story on the weekends one is paid for. Since it's going to become a miniseries, of sorts, I've re-branded it. All future installments of Eric/Adam will appear under the name HOWL.

I've already changed the name (and the link) of the original which is now, simply, HOWL 1. I have also added and tweaked a few things. If you'd like to read it again, you can do so here. Enjoy!
