if you read the fav char post, you would know that i'm a TOTAL vamp tramp... i'm currently looking for any good novels about vampires that i haven't already read... so this would EXCLUDE the Twilight Saga and the Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice.... any other good ones? please?!?!?!?!?! i'm addicted to vampires, gay, straight, lez, bi, trans, it doesn't matter...

@gayboiins If you liked Twilight, why not try stuff by L. J. Smith (The Vampire Diaries). If you want scarier stuff, Dracula actually makes for good reading, as does The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova. The Sookie Stackhouse series is alright (by Charlaine Harris) - if you've heard of the TV series True Blood, those are the books it's based on.

@judisheshok 22 IS bad. It's like I'm actually in my 20s now. I'm not a nearly-teen anymore. Should be responsible etc, but actually still a child. Sticking out tongue

I'm feeling ancient already. I'm 32 (*gasp* I know!) and have been a vampire fan(g)atic for pretty much my entire life. In middle school, my best friend and I watched Lost Boys so many times we could quote the entire movie.

When I was about 12, I decided 25 was the perfect age to be turned, so you guys still have a few years to go Smiling

It's actually quite odd if you think about how many straight females (like me) read a lot of gay lit - I started reading fanfics, particularly in anime fandoms, and most of it was gay (and some had vampires! ^_^). I wonder why.

I guess the thing for me is, I'm not attracted to other girls. I'm attracted to guys, so male/male is sexy. Not that girl on girl can't be sexy, but it seems harder to get right (for me).
