Monetary Support

Hopefully by throwing these up there some people will take advantage of them. I realize different people have different pay schedules so if there is an option you'd like to see that isn't listed, do drop me a line.

I don't expect everyone to go instantly sign up, but as my readership grows the likelihood that people will pay me increases.

Never feel bad for not donating, either. It takes all kinds, and I'd never presume that everyone who stumbles across my writing will feel compelled to pay for it. And there's also those that just don't have the means at the present time to donate. If you'd like to, but can't, just do something else. Rec me to friends, link to me in your forum signatures, whatever.

Even if you don't plan on subscribing you might go check the link out anyway. I've dropped some small hints about vampire culture on the page.

Slut Points

This will get its own post in good time, but for now I'll take a moment to blab about it. Slut points (earn an extra five right now if you can tell me why they're called that) are user points that are accumulated by activity around the site. Starting polls and forum topics earn you five (at the moment, but I'm starting to think that's a little high) and comments on chapters and blog posts earn you one.

Eventually I'll have a whole host of things you can do for points, but as I said, there's a separate post coming for that.

And why bother with all this points business at all? Good question. They can be "redeemed" for various things. I haven't completely solidified this idea, but I'm thinking maybe short fics, character interviews, and one idea I had might be kinda crazy. After so many points you earn the ability to ask me any question, even about the story, and I'm honor-bound to answer. Interested?

Delusions of Grandeur, I have them.

Okay, this last is a little embarrassing, but here we go. I've been thinking of ways to get more of a community feel, and also get people more involved. One of the things I thought of was, well, a fan club, of sorts.

For some kind of fee (month or yearly, I'm not sure yet), members of the club would get access to content that couldn't be found anywhere else. I've got a few ideas for that, like random story-universe facts, video blogs/podcasts, and maybe first access to the chapter recordings when I finally get around to doing them. I've been half-assedly working on some submissions to an erotic ebook anthology at Circlet Press, so maybe a sneak peak at that, too.

Again, if any of you have some ideas about that, give me a yell.
