Character Name Change
Those of you that read the side stories will be aware of a character named Carlisle, a vampire in Ira's House. It's recently come to my attention that there is also a vampire in the Twilight series with the same name. Now, I named my vampire before I was aware of this, but still. It makes me itchy.
I'm thinking that it wouldn't really be a big deal if I changed Carlisle's name to something similar. He hasn't even properly been on stage yet, he's only appeared in two or three stories I think, so it's not like it would be disruptive or anything like that. I dunno, I haven't made a decision yet. Thoughts?

That's my name.

I honestly don't see what the problem is. Yes, there is a character in Twilight named Carlisle, but his concept is completely different, and a name like that can't be copyrighted. Unless it simply irritates you to have a name in common with anything she's written (which I would understand), then I would leave it.

You've hit it
It's not that I worry overly much about being accused of copying, but the very idea that someone might think I need to borrow anything from Twilight makes my teeth ache.

Okay, that reason for changing the name is one I fully understand and wholeheartedly support. xD

Meh.
I myself would change it but only slightly. YOu can use the name if you want. Not copyrighted so.....
