Catching Up

I've spent the time since I've been awake (which, honestly, hasn't been that long) catching people up on their money-earned points. Hopefully I got all the donations and subscriptions in my PayPal attributed to the right person. Someday I will figure out why the fucking username box isn't working. Sigh. Anyway, I think I got it figured out, and I know one person on the roster doesn't have an account so I don't have to worry about that. I also know that when Charis finally gets a working account I'm going to owe her a massive amount of points.

#DBFchat, anyone?

Hey guys, I was just wondering if anyone with Twitters would be interested in having a live chat, something in the vein of #writechat or #DNchat. I should be showing up in the hashtag searches again so it would be a good time to have one.

I'm not solid on what the content of the chat would be, it literally just now occurred to me so I thought I'd ask people what they thought. We can chat about Dead Boyfriend, HOWL, ask me questions, offer suggestion, even critique my writing style, whatever.

HOWL Updates and a Reminder

Hey, so I've come to a decision. HOWL, being mostly sequential, is a bit different that other side stories. It's more like Ira's POV, and then it hit me. It would actually be easier to write if it was more like Ira's POV. So I've changed it up a little. HOWL 1 is now HOWL 1.1, and the rest of this "chapter" will come in chunks like 1.2, 1.3, ect.

Howling Out Loud

Eric's little adventure is going serialized. For the foreseeable future it's going to be the side story on the weekends one is paid for. Since it's going to become a miniseries, of sorts, I've re-branded it. All future installments of Eric/Adam will appear under the name HOWL.

I've already changed the name (and the link) of the original which is now, simply, HOWL 1. I have also added and tweaked a few things. If you'd like to read it again, you can do so here. Enjoy!

It's totally Saturday somewhere!

First off, sorry for how this weekend has gone. I just couldn't force a side story out for the life of me. But I finally got one sort of finished and posted.

I'm going to be reorganizing the side stories, putting them into categories that will be easier to find. Also, I'm thinking I might continue the storyline of the most recent side story in a few more posts if there's interest. It might help make it easier to have something to write every week. We'll see what happens.

Dead Boyfriend's Future: Or, watch me act like an idiot

So I made a little video yesterday. Yeah, I know, I'm hawt. That's right, now you see my unequivocal dorkiness live and in color. Watch me blink roughly a gajillion times, and my eyes bug out at least once.

Anyway, ta da:

I have internet again.

Sorry for the disappearing act folks, the internet went out. I have fixed it, mainly by plugging it back in. I'm a genius, ya'll.

Anyway, now that I'm civilized again I'll be throwing a blog post up in the next few days describing how to get bonus story content to tide you over until book two goes up. It'll be pretty similar to how the incentives work already.

I'm also working on getting a new voting incentive story ready to post but it keeps growing. We'll see what happens.

Until then, I will see you when I see you.

Not the End

Despite the title of the epilogue Dead Boyfriend is not over, merely the first story arc is. I have to thank everyone who has stuck with me through the sometimes meandering plot-line that was Courting Death (also for putting up with that bad pun).

Courting Death was the first story I've ever completed and it means so much that everyone who enjoyed it supported me through the long process.

Fuck you, December

The month of my twenty-first has not been a pleasant one. After the hacking of my PayPal account, my mother went to the doctor and it was thought that she had a tumor in her brain. Oh, and I got into a phone fight with my father.

Since then, Dad and I have made up and Mom has learned it wasn't actually a tumor, just a bad reaction to her medication.

Tis the Season

I really should have had the chapter up Saturday like I planned. Now begins the bustle of the Christmas season, and I have no idea when I'm gonna get this chapter finished. I've got over a thousand words for it, but it's just not there yet. If I can grab a free moment tomorrow, it will go up then. I will try my hardest for this.

I'll also try to whip up the epilogue, too. I don't want to leave it until after Christmas. It would be too long of a wait for something I think will be shorter than most chapters are.
